The Tabu was an important part of my life to say the least. Playing there with ReCoil was the highlight of my time in Dallas, and it is also the place where I met my wife Colleen..another Tabu alum. I cherish the friends and memories I have from that time, and miss those days very much.

I was known as Ruthie, one of the cocktail waitresses, 1976 -1983. I later worked at Poor David’s Pub when it was on Greenville Ave. I miss all the people from that time. I no longer live in Dallas, and I’m an RN now. If any Tabu family or friend wants to reconnect, I’m on Facebook. But it looks like this blog might be inactive now; I just stumbled upon it.
